- 250 g red kuri squash puree
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 500 g self-rising flour
- 250 cc water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tsp sugar
Put the warm water, yeast, sugar and flour in a glass. Stir and leave to foam.
Place the remaining flour in a bowl, add salt and oil around the edges and the honey and pumpkin puree in the centre, and add the water a little at a time. Mix until the dough can be kneaded.
Flour the counter and knead until a smooth dough ball is formed. Cover with cling film and leave to rest in a warm place until it doubles in volume.
Once it has rested, degas the dough. Divide into buns and leave to rest on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
Once the buns have risen, bake for 40 minutes in a high oven.
Turn off the heat and leave to cool. Ready to eat.
