Kebab is a world-known Turkish wrap that everyone loves! Dürüm is the same idea, but the tortilla is lighter and can be rolled. This recipe for homemade kebab uses chicken instead of meat as the main ingredient. Take a look and try it!

  • 12 lemon juice and zest Added to

  • 1 tablespoon cumin Added to

  • 60 g feta cheese Added to
  • 2 wheat tortillas Added to

Directions

1. Step

Mix the yoghurt with the lemon juice and zest, chopped parsley and garlic, cumin, paprika and salt.

2. Step

Cut the breasts in half and cut them into fillets. Transfer to a glass bowl and cover with the yoghurt sauce. Set aside. Cover with cling film and leave in the fridge for 4 hours.

3. Step

Cut a red onion in half and place it in the centre of a baking tray. Stick a metal skewer in the centre and thread the marinated chicken fillets crosswise, one on top of the other.

4. Step

Bake the kebab at 190°C for 60 minutes.

5. Step

Cut the lettuce and carrot into strips, the feta cheese into cubes and the tomato and red onion into slices.

6. Step

Cut a few pieces of kebab breast and place them in the centre of a flour tortilla.

7. Step

Place some lettuce, tomato, red onion, carrot, feta cheese and some mint leaves on top.

8. Step

Wrap in the shape of a roll and sear in the frying pan.

9. Step

Serve the dürüm cut in half.
