- 450 g plain flour
- 227 g unsalted butter
- 225 g semolina sugar
- 1 egg
- 5 ml rose water
- 1⁄4 tsp salt
In a bowl, place all the dry ingredients and mix until they are well-combined. Add the butter. Mix until obtaining a sand texture.
Mix the rose water and the egg. Add it into the flour mixture. Stir well.
Wotk the dough with your hands and divide it into 16 equal parts.
Flatten each piece and form a thin disc. Repeat with all the dough pieces. Then, place them in the parchment paper on the baking tray.
Make diamond forms on the dough biscuits surface. Then, make a little hole in the middle of each diamond. Bake in a preheated oven to 180°C for 15 minutes.
Remove form the oven, leave to cool completely and enjoy!
