Mix all the ingredients for the dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. Then divide the dough into two halves. Roll out each of them into a rectangle of approximately 20x30 cm.

Grate the apples, squeeze the juice out of them and add ground nuts, cinnamon sugar and vanilla sugar. Layer on the first sheet of dough and smooth it out evenly. Cover with the second sheet of dough and prick with a fork. Press down the edges. Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C.
