- 250 g fresh mushrooms (wild or cultivated)
- 1⁄2 onion
- 11⁄2 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoon vegetable stock cube
- 2 tablespoon white wine
- 1⁄2 cup low fat milk
- 2 tsp corn flour
- 1⁄2 tablespoon salt
- ground pepper
Wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices.
Chop the onion into slices.
In a previously heated frying pan, add the onion to the oil so that it poaches before adding the mushrooms. Sauté for approximately 5 minutes.
When the onion is soft, add the mushrooms. Cover the pan so that the water released by the mushrooms does not evaporate and joins as an ingredient in the sauce.
When the mushrooms have reduced in size and have released their water, add the white wine, milk, vegetable stock, salt, pepper and cornflour. Leave on low heat. While it is on the heat, stir continuously.
Remove from the heat and leave it to rest for a few minutes. Then, add it to your dish and enjoy your homemade mushroom sauce.
