  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese Added to
  • 13 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips Added to
  • 14 cup powdered sugar Added to
  • 12 tsp orange zest, freshly grated Added to
  • 16 slice home-style white bread, crusts removed Added to
  • 14 cup milk Added to
  • 2 large eggland's best eggs Added to
  • 12 tsp ground cinnamon Added to
  • 14 cup land o lakes butter Added to
  • garnish with powdered sugar Added to

Directions

1. Step

Combine all the filling ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Set aside.

2. Step

Flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin and spread 1 tablespoon of filling over each bread slice to 1/ inch from the sides and to 1 inch at the top.

3. Step

Roll up the bread slices, starting from the bottom.

4. Step

Place the milk, eggs, and cinnamon in a shallow bowl and whisk until combined.

5. Step

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat until sizzling.

6. Step

Dip 4 bread rolls into the egg mixture, then place in a skillet.

7. Step

Cook, turning occasionally, for 3 minutes or until lightly browned on all sides.

8. Step

Repeat with the remaining butter and bread rolls; wiping out the skillet between batches.

9. Step

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired, and enjoy!
