- 500 g wheat flour
- 300 ml hot water
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tsp dehydrated yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 250 g minced meat
- 1⁄4 grated onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- black pepper
- parsley topping
- Turkish seasoning
- 100 g grated yellow cheese
- 70 g feta cheese
- 2 stalks chopped fresh chives
In a bowl, add the flour and make a hole in the centre. Put the salt around and in the centre place the warm water, yeast and sugar. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated and the dough is homogeneous.
Sprinkle some flour on the counter and knead the dough until it is very smooth. Divide the dough into 7 portions, make balls and place them on a floured baking sheet. Sprinkle flour over each ball and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let rise for about 1 hour.
Mix all the ingredients for the meat filling and set aside. For the cheese filling, grate the cheese and chop the chives. Reserve.
Throw some flour on the counter and roll out the dough very thinly, in an oval shape.
Stuff with the stuffing of your choice. Fold the edges over the filling and close the ends tightly.
Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C in the lowest part of the oven for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, brush butter on the edges, and bake again until golden. Serve still hot!
