Honey baked pork ribs are a true meat lover's delight. I have prepared this recipe countless times for friends and family and it never fails to impress. The secret lies in the perfect balance between the sweetness of the honey and the robust flavor of the pork. You don't need to be an expert in the kitchen to achieve this balance, just follow the steps carefully and enjoy the process.

1. Step

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Meanwhile, season the pork ribs with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Step

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ribs and brown each side. This step is crucial to sear the meat and keep it juicy.

3. Step

In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, crushed garlic and ground ginger. This mixture will be your glaze, so make sure all ingredients are well mixed.

4. Step

Place the ribs on a baking sheet and brush generously with the glaze. Concentrate on coating all areas to create a flavorful barrier that will enhance the flavor of the pork.

5. Step

Bake the ribs for approximately 2 hours, or until tender. I recommend checking and giving them another coat of glaze every 30 minutes to keep the ribs moist and enhance their flavor.

6. Step

Once ready, remove the ribs from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. This last part is essential so that the juices redistribute and each bite is perfect.
