VIDEORECIPE How to make Easy Moong Dal
A recipe for this tasty Indian curry meal!

- 2 cups moong dal yellow lentils
- 6 cups water
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1⁄2 raw mango
- 3 tablespoon ghee
- 10 cloves garlic
- 4 red chillies
- 1 tsp hing asafoetida
- 1 sprig Curry Leaves
Add moong dal and salt as required to water in a pot, and bring to a simmer. Add turmeric, ginger paste, raw mango cubes, and cook for 20 minutes.
In another pan, heat the ghee, add garlic, and saute. Add chillies, hing, mix, and saute for a minute. Add the curry leaves, mix, and then take off the heat.
Serve the moong dal in a bowl along with the ghee sauce. Enjoy!
