- 11⁄4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon dry yeast
- 5 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄4 cup unsalted butter
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter
- 1⁄4 cup chopped chives
- 1⁄4 cup Chopped Coriander leaves
- 1.8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 1.8 oz Crushed peanuts
- 2 tablespoon white sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoon black sesame seeds
- 1 chili
Mix the honey with the warm milk and sprinkle in the dry yeast. Stir and leave to activate, about 3-5 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl of a mixer, including the activated yeast. Mix until integrated and then knead for 15 minutes. The dough will be a bit sticky. Grease your hands with a little oil and form the dough into a ball. Place in an oiled bowl and cover with cling film. Leave to rise until doubled in size.
Once doubled in size, place the dough on a floured surface and knead lightly until it forms a cylinder. Cut into 4 equal parts and then cut each part into 12 equal parts. Form each part into a ball. Repeat until you have 48 balls.
Dip each ball in melted butter and then cover with the topping. Place in a greased pan. Repeat with the remaining balls, alternating the toppings.
Cover loosely with cling film and leave to rise for about 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 40 minutes or until cooked through.
Once cooked, remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack and turn again onto a serving plate. Serve warm, enjoy!
