- 1⁄2 bay leaf
- 5 tablespoon butter
- 4 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
- 2 cups chicken stock cube
- 1⁄2 Cup dry white wine
- 1 spoon Dijon mustard
- 2 spoon dried parsley
- 1⁄2 spoon onion powder
- 1⁄4 spoon Fresh grated nutmeg
- salt
- 1⁄4 Cup heavy cream
- 1 egg

In an ovenproof skillet, on medium–low heat, cook leeks, mushrooms, thyme sprigs, bay leaf and carrots in 1 tablespoon of butter until soft.
