Copycat Chipotle Southwest Dressing Sauce
This flavorful Chipotle Southwest Sauce is a perfect blend of mayo, lime juice, and a mix of herbs and spices. Often used as a dressing for sandwiches and salads, this sauce leaves a pleasant smoky aftertaste that makes your taste buds ask for more. It's not just delicious but easy and quick to make as well.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons of lime juice
- 2 teaspoons of water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon of salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of Dried Dill Weed
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of Smoked Paprika or regular Paprika
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of Minced Chipotle Pepper in Adobo Sauce, or to taste

Grab a bowl and mix together 1 cup mayonnaise, 2 teaspoons of lime juice, and 2 teaspoons of water.
Once well combined, stir in 1/2 a teaspoon of garlic powder and onion powder each, followed by 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 a teaspoon of dried dill weed.
Next, add 2 teaspoons of honey and 1/2 teaspoons of both smoked paprika and vinegar. Mix it well to ensure the spices blend with the mayo.
Finely mince 1 tablespoon of Chipotle Pepper in Adobo Sauce and add it to the mixture. Stir until the sauce becomes uniform. You can adjust the spice level according to personal preference by increasing or decreasing the quantity of chipotle pepper.
Let the sauce sit for an hour allowing flavors to meld together. You can serve it immediately, but the flavors develop better over time.
Pour the sauce into an airtight container and refrigerate for storage. It's ready to be served as a dressing or a dip!
