These oven-baked chicken drumsticks are very easy to prepare and delicious. Roasted with potatoes and onions is a unique flavour experience.
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoon Italian seasoning for chicken
- 350 ml white wine
Wash and peel the potatoes. Then, cut them into slices approximately one and a half centimetres thick.
Peel and chop the onion into julienne strips as finely as possible.
Put all the potatoes and onion in an ovenproof dish. Then, season with salt.
Add a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Mix with your hands so that the potatoes and onion are well impregnated.
Peel the garlic cloves. Put them in a mortar and pestle and pound them well to obtain a paste.
To the garlic, add the Italian chicken seasoning and add the white wine and stir well until all the ingredients are combined.
Place the chicken thighs on top of the potatoes and drizzle with the previously prepared sauce.
Place the tray in a preheated oven at 180 °C and bake the chicken in the oven for 45 minutes.
Open the oven and baste the roast every 10 minutes with the sauce.
After 2 hours of cooking, remove the chicken from the oven.
Serve the roast chicken with the potatoes. Enjoy this rich, tasty, juicy and very easy-to-make chicken.
