- 500 g pumpkin cubes
- 10 tablespoon olive oil
- 12 small clove of garlic
- 3 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 tablespoon tahini paste
- 400 gm canned/ boiled chickpeas
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1⁄2 tablespoon salt
Roast the pumpkin cubes for 20–25 minutes in a 200° preheated oven. Let it cool when done.
Add baked pumpkin and boiled/canned chickpeas to the blender with garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin powder, red chilli flakes, ground black pepper, salt and tahini.
Blend everything well to achieve silky smooth pumpkin hummus. Serve it with nachos or pita bread.
