- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups maple syrup
- 1⁄2 Cup water
- 1⁄2 Cup softened butter
- 1⁄2 Cup sugar
- 2 egg
- 1 spoon vanilla essence
- 3⁄4 Cup milk
- 11⁄2 cups self-rising flour
- 2 spoon baking soda
Combine the heavy cream, maple syrup, and water, and set aside.
In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and milk, and mix some more.
In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Then add this mixture to the creamed butter mixture and combine.
Slowly heat up the heavy cream mixture on low heat. Once it starts bubbling, stir a little, then add the batter.
Bake for around twenty minutes. Serve hot, with ice cream.
