The mulled Lillet is a wonderful secret weapon for cold days. If you've never tried the delicious Lillet Blanc before, this recipe is the perfect introduction. This warm, comforting drink with spicy and fruity notes has been an absolute favorite in my family ever since we first made it on a cold evening. Directions

15 min.
1. Step

To prepare the mulled Lillet, pour the Lillet Blanc together with the apple juice into a medium saucepan and heat the liquid over a medium heat. Make sure that the Lillet does not boil in order to preserve the alcohol content.

2. Step

Now add the cinnamon sticks and cloves. I love experimenting with spices and adding a little more cinnamon for an even richer flavor.

3. Step

Wash the orange and lemon thoroughly and cut into slices. Add the slices to the pot. The citrus fruits give the drink a nice tart note and round off the overall flavor profile.

4. Step

Finally, add the honey and stir well until it has completely dissolved. If you prefer your drink a little sweeter, don't hesitate to add an extra spoonful of honey.

5. Step

Leave your drink to simmer for around 10 minutes so that the flavors can fully develop. Then pour through a sieve into a mug and enjoy the Glüh-Lillet immediately - just like at the Christmas market!
