Directions

1. Step

In a large bowl, mix flour with sugar and salt. Dissolve the fresh yeast in warm water and add to the flour mixture.

2. Step

Add eggs and milk. Mix everything together.

3. Step

Add the butter and knead until the dough is smooth and soft. Cover with a clean dish towel and let it rise for about 1 hour.

4. Step

Punch the dough down and divide it into 2 equal parts. Form them into balls. On a floured surface roll each part using a rolling pin.

5. Step

With the back of a spoon, spread about 2 tbsp of soft butter onto the dough round.

6. Step

Cut the dough into 16 triangles.

7. Step

Start rolling each triangle into crescents, starting from the outside edge of the triangle.

8. Step

Once rolled, curve the edges and place them on a greased baking tray. Let the triangles rise for about 20 minutes. Melt additional 1 1/2 tbsp butter and brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.

9. Step

Preheat the oven to 200° C. Bake for 18 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

10. Step

Let them cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
