- 1 kg tomatoes
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon stevia powder
Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalks with a knife and chop the tomatoes.
Squeeze the lemon to extract the juice.
Put a pan on the heat and add the chopped tomatoes, stevia and lemon juice. Stir with a spoon and cook over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Once the tomatoes are cooked, mash them in a potato masher to remove the skin and obtain a finer jam.
Serve the tomato jam, the perfect spread for your toast. To make canned tomato jam, store it in sterilised, vacuum-packed glass jars. Enjoy!
