Directions

40 min.
1. Step

Start by boiling the green tea noodles as per instructions on the packet, but use the brewed green tea instead of plain water. This infuses the noodles with a delicate, earthy flavor of green tea.

2. Step

While the noodles are cooking, heat the olive oil on medium flame in a wok. Add the chopped garlic and onion, sauté until the onion becomes translucent. Do not rush this process as slow cooking gently extracts the flavors.

3. Step

Once the onions are sautéed, add the julienned carrots along with the red and green bell peppers. Stir-fry these until the veggies acquire a slight crunch, which usually takes 5-7 minutes.

4. Step

Now drain your noodles and add them to the wok, carefully ensuring no noodle breakage occurs. Toss them gently with the veggies.

5. Step

Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt according to taste. Mix the noodles gently but thoroughly until all the ingredients are well combined. Keep the heat on low during this mixing, as high heat may cause the noodles to stick to the wok.

6. Step

Remove from the heat and serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
