  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest Added to
  • 2 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in one tablespoon water Added to

1. Step

Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch. Dip each piece into the beaten eggs.

2. Step

Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the coated chicken pieces and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set it aside.

3. Step

In the same pan, add the orange juice, sugar, vinegar, garlic, soy sauce, and orange zest. Bring the mixture to a boil.

4. Step

Stir in the cornstarch dissolved in water, cook until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.

5. Step

Return the chicken to the pan and stir until all the chicken pieces are evenly coated with the orange sauce.

6. Step

Garnish with the sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy your orange chicken with steamed rice.
