- 4 lb flanken cut beef short ribs
- 1 Korean pear
- 1⁄2 onion
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1⁄2 in ginger
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 can pixie
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄3 cup mirin
- 3 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tsp black pepper

1. Step
Rinse the meat under cold water, then soak in it for 30 minutes. Blend the rest of the ingredients together into a smooth marinade.
2. Step
Place 1 layer of meat into a dish. Pour enough marinade into cover it, then place another layer of meat and repeat. Cover with plastic wrap, and marinate for 6 hours.
