English homemade mint sauce recipe
The mint sauce is famous in English cuisine for lamb, red meats and Yorkshire pudding. This homemade recipe is a must! Don't miss it.
- peppermint leaves
- wine vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
Separate the leaves from the stem and wash them well.
Drain and dry well.
Chop into small pieces.
I put them in a jar with an airtight lid, previously washed and sterilised.
Transfer to a previously washed and sterilised jar with an airtight lid.
Add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of sugar.
Cover with wine vinegar up to the rim. Close with lid.
