Prepare homemade strawberry jam following this recipe. With only three ingredients and the easiest procedures, you will have the best jam at home.
- 1 kg strawberries
- 3 tablespoon lemon juice
- 600 g sugar
Wash the strawberries by removing the stems, then chop them into small cubes.
Place the strawberries in a large saucepan over medium heat with the lemon juice.
Continue stirring from time to time and when you notice that it starts to become soft, mash the pieces while stirring.
After half an hour you will see that it is a relatively uniform liquid, add the sugar and continue stirring and cooking.
Leave to cook for about 45 minutes more. You can cook longer if you want a thick jam.
Place in a glass container with a lid. Store in the fridge!
