- 200 g milk
- 4 egg
- 10 g dry yeast
- 180 g sugar
- Vanilla flavour
- Lemon zest
- 100 g butter
- 500 g self-rising flour
- 1⁄3 tsp salt
- 120 g raisins
Rinse the sultanas and pour boiling water for 10 minutes. Dry with paper towels and roll in flour.
Dissolve yeast in milk and add a little flour and sugar. Let the yeast activate for 10 minutes.
Add eggs, softened butter at room temperature, sugar, vanilla flavouring, salt, lemon zest and flour.
Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes with a spatula or spatula. Dry the sultanas, mix them with flour, add to the dough and knead. Cover the bowl with cling film and place it in a warm place for 60 minutes.
Put the dough into moulds. Then put the dough in a warm place for 30 minutes. Bake for 35 minutes in an oven preheated to 170°C.
Allow the Easter cakes to cool. Unmould and decorate with icing. Enjoy.
