In a large saucepan, melt together the butter, 200 grams of Caramilk chocolate, sugar and golden syrup over low heat. Stir continuously until all ingredients have melted and combined well.

2. Step

Once the mixture is smooth and well combined, remove it from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

3. Step

Add the Rice Bubbles to the chocolate mixture, ensuring they're all well coated.

4. Step

Line a 9x9 inch baking tray with baking paper. Pour the coated Rice Bubbles into the tray and smooth them out with the back of a spoon.

5. Step

Melt the remaining 100 grams of Caramilk chocolate in a microwave safe bowl, heating in 20-second intervals and stirring in between until completely melted.

6. Step

Pour the melted Caramilk chocolate over the top of the Rice Bubble mixture in the tray. Spread it out evenly with a spatula or back of a spoon.

7. Step

Refrigerate the slice for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate on top has set firmly.

8. Step

Once it's set, slice it into squares or bars and serve.
