- 2 mango
- 1⁄3 cup raisins
- 1 clove garlic
- 1⁄2 onion
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 paprika
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄3 cup vinegar
- 1 ginger
Chop the mango into medium or small pieces.
Finely chop the rest of the vegetables, the onion, garlic, pepper and also the ginger. Then, place all the ingredients in a saucepan.
Mix with sugar, salt, water, sultanas and vinegar; place on the heat and cook until it begins to caramelise and forms a thick jam with all the ingredients.
Store the chutney in sterilised containers so that the preparation lasts much longer.
