VIDEORECIPE Crunchy and tasty homemade French bread
One of the foods that is never missing at home is bread. Its versatility of uses: toast for breakfast, a sandwich, an accompaniment to any meal and anything else you can imagine. French bread is one of the most loved by everyone.
- 500 g fine flour
- 300 ml water
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 1 tsp salt
Mix flour and salt.
Add yeast to water, stir until no lumps remain.
Add the water with the yeast to the flour and mix to a dough.
Begin to knead to a smooth consistency. Add flour if necessary.
Using a dough kneader, roll out the dough, cover and leave to rest for ten minutes.
Cut the dough into four pieces.
Start kneading one of the pieces, shaping it into a rectangular shape with the rolling pin. Then roll it inwards to shape the bread and wait ten more minutes.
Roll out the pieces to the size of the baking dish, cover and wait for the bread to rise.
Sprinkle flour on top of the loaves and make diagonal cuts.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven at 200°. Bake for forty minutes.
Remove from the oven and start enjoying this homemade French bread.
