- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon shaoxing rice wine
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 2 teaspoon molasses
- 1 teaspoon red dye
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon five spice powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sesame oil

Preheat oven to 500 F. Mix all the marinade ingredients. Pour over the meat and rub in. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Move to a baking tray and roast for 25 minutes. Turn over and roast for 10 more minutes. Mix remaining marinade with honey. Cover the meat with this sauce, roast for 10 minutes. Turn over, cover with sauce again and roast for final 5 minutes. Serve with rice, vegetables, cilantro leaves and enjoy!
