Directions

30 min.
1. Step

First we need to clean the raspberries. It is very important that they do not contain any leaves or other impurities.

2. Step

Place the raspberries, sugar and cut vanilla pod (using a spatula to remove the fine vanilla seeds) in a ceramic or glass jar, preferably with a lid. This is an important step as the plastic can affect the taste of the liqueur.

3. Step

Pour vodka or alcohol over the container. I prefer vodka for a smoother liqueur taste.

4. Step

Close the jar and store in a dark, cool place.

5. Step

Leave the liqueur to infuse for about a month. Shake occasionally during the first week to dissolve the sugar completely.

6. Step

After the leaching period has elapsed, strain the liqueur through a thick sieve or gauze and pour into clean bottles. The raspberries are not thrown away, but can be used, for example, to make desserts.
