- 800 ml milk
- 150 g sugar
- vanilla pod
- 1 tablespoon bicarbonate
Add the milk to the pan and bring it to a boil.
Add the sugar and bicarbonate and stir occasionally over low heat.
After about 10 minutes add the vanilla. Open the pod with a knife, scrape out the seeds and add them to the milk. Stir occasionally for 50 minutes.
Remove from the heat, pour into a glass container and leave to cool until it thickens. Then, it's ready to enjoy!
